    Either a thermal blanket or one of those thin foam pads that looks like a yoga mat. I used to sleep on my stretcher on one of them (before I got fat) and the mat kept out all cold from below like a dream.

    Thanks guys, Some good ideas.
    Will use a thick blanket on the top, and I think a foam pad or two for under the mattress
    And someone "willing" to top it all off!

    news paper, or thick blanket, if you not hiking, a custom cut piece of carpet works wonders
