So its returned to the initial problem it started with?

I think that gun has bigger issues than needing cleaning, get new mags see what happens.

On paper it might look like that. However, as stated, I did not clean it on purpose. It runs perfect now after being cleaned. I also believe I will be able to shoot more than 500 rounds in one session, but I never shoot so much at one time to test it.

As long as she is clean and wet she should be fine.

I tend to clean my pistols after every range session, just to be on the safe side
One thing that I should also do more often is clean after carrying for a while (assuming the pistol has not been fired in the mean time) since there is a serious build up of lint and the like in the workings of the pistol.

I am a bit disappointed in myself that I did not get the G26 or the Shield instead. If I had a rewind button, I would have used it now.

On the plus side, if you want to call it that, is you have gone down a road less traveled and found out for yourself what does and does not work.
This is part of the firearms ownership and sometimes we just need to find out for ourselves.

I don't clean mine very often at all. I however make sure they have lube in the rails before a shoot.

Well if you do. Don't disappoint yourself. Between those two. Get the Shield.
