Re: Red dot sight on a hunting rifle?
Are the dots supposed to be perfectly defined and clear? I was under the impression that they are a bit blurred or a little star shaped and some of them form two dots that sit on top of each other. Now I must learn its my eyes. Ai jai jai.
I use red dots on my Roni, hunting revolver and had one for a long time on my .44 Mag lever gun. What I really like about red dots is that if the shot seems a bit far and your aiming is not “feeling” perfect and you think “a scope would have been better for this shot”, well, then, it actually is too far for the close range weapons they are used on in general.
