The K frame was launched as the Military and Police (model of 1899 Army-Navy revolver) hence 19th century. If it's not a Smith it's not a K frame.

Something that fits in a pocket of an old coat isn't what most would consider a pocket pistol. You could probably have fitted a mid size pistol in there as well. But as you said "but hey if it works for you".

I still consider a mid size -service pistol more capable than a K frame and those are very. AIWB compatible. Something that fits the frame of reference of a great many people.

Look, whatever you're talking about, I don't find AIWB comfortable when sitting down. One size doesn't fit all.

Is it not illegal to carry in a pocket with a holster in the first place?. I can certainly see the advantages in some situations. One big negative is your draw will be slower. But then, if you have your finger on the trigger, gun still in the pocket, you for sure have a tactical advantage

Not illegal as it is covered, but quite possibly stupid, like carrying glock / da pistol one up without a holster, with a next empty chamber you would need to pull the trigger twice.
