Re: Club 15-22
Got around to installing the Volquartsen extractor (finally).
For those of us with two left thumbs, this video might be extremely helpful.
Will take it out for a spin at the next steel challenge and provide a report back; if there's anything worth adding.

Re: Club 15-22
Remember when Sunday's were about Steel Challenge? Ah - those care free days!
Figured I'd do a quick update on the M&P15-22*:-
Round count: 3000
Parts changed/upgraded/replaced: Upgrade charging handle, upgraded extractor, suppressor
Parts breakages: Charging handle (aftermarket replacement)
Stoppages due to parts failure/breakage: None
Stoppages due to ammo: Plenty -> dirty 22 ammo
Clean-ups: 3 (One was because I was bolt-shamed ... )
Smiles: Heaps!
* For anyone who still uses the forum to talk guns.

Re: Club 15-22
Mine is still gathering dust at the dealer sadly. I wasted a lot of time because my competency didn’t include self loading rifle and now been waiting 5 months for CFR.
In the meantime I go to a range where I rent a 15-22. Great fun!

Re: Club 15-22
Chalking that up to bad luck. The housing for the springs that allow the "arms" of the handle to move managed to break.
I didn't realise until a while after. By then I had no idea where to look for the missing pieces. It still continued to function albeit without the arms flexing on charging.
