has anyone changed their front hand rail/guard on the gun ?

I want to put a 15" free float one on mine.

If anyone has done this ... how and where did you get it done.

I don't think there's anything available locally. You will need the castle nut converter contraption.

Agree with Peace Officer. I did not find anything locally, but imported directly from tacticool22. No issues and good service.

Works out to roughly R1700 landed just for the conversion kit. Out of budget for now as i am patiently waiting for tim to get the suppressors in.

MLOK and Picatinny are two different technologies. You do get rails with Picatinny on top and MLOK on the sides. Is that the one you're after?

16.5" barrel so I'm guessing you'll be wanting a 15" rail, correct?

Yup

It came with a small one +- 5cm long where i attached the bi pod on.
