    Default Club 15-22

So I finally got around to taking my 15-22 out for a spin last Saturday. And it was goooood!!!

Pulled it straight out the box and put 200 rounds of Remington Cyclone's through it without a hiccup (as one would expect).

I found it to be sufficiently accurate out to 20m. Of course, I'll need to take it outdoors and test it at greater distances before making any formal edict.

It's a ton of fun to shoot with very little fatigue-inducing recoil. But I foresee this becoming rather costly as the empty ammo boxes pile up very rapidly. And because I spent the bulk of my time loading mags rather than shooting I see myself taking a page out of the KingMST book and stocking up on magazines.

Speaking of which, I need to dig up the MST charging handle that I picked up some time ago. Will be looking to add a Bushnell TRS and I have a little custom mod planned for the future.

Thought .22's were meant to the cheap? This is starting to sound like it could get pretty expensive!

Very keen on running this at the next steel challenge.

I have one myself, I have spent more on ammo than the rifle many times over!
    I love it!

If there is one small problem I have with mine is that the trigger needs some work, am seriously pondering a CMC, Wilson or the like swapout trigger.

As for ammo, I have found the Winchester and Fiocchi to be very accurate

Too early for me to tell (or I'm just so blinded by the awesomeness that I can't tell the difference?)

Mine prefers Winchester 555 and Highland RX HVHP. It runs beautifully on Winchester SuperX Sub sonic and Remington Sub sonic. It works ok with S&B SV. S&B HV and Speer Hyper both work really well too and it also works well on Stingers but those last three negate the low cost of .22 ammo.

I love playing Barbie with my 15-22 mostly because .22 is not hard on parts and you can use sub standard parts (IE Airsoft). It is more cost effective to try what you want before ending up on what you like best. Having tried all the coolguy toys.

I wish I could own one of these.

But like someone else posted on the forum, when you have kids, you'll never have money again :-)

The second pic is the MOE stock; pistol grip and what looks to be a modified vertical grip, correct?

Yeah a cut down Magpul (PTS) vertical grip I use as a handstop.
