For sure, that goes for any species. But there is a correct way of doing it and then there is the wrong way of doing it.

There are many ethical farmers/breeders out there.

It does the industry as a whole no good if we as hunters defend pieces of shit like in this documentary.

Also please explain to me how does the lion hunting industry help to preserve the lion populations in National parks across Africa?

    Black-ops

Nobody gives a sh!t whether it's done ethically or not, not the person who made this documentary, nor the people who will rally against lion hunting.

It's not about whether it does the business no good, it's plain a case of people don't want it as a business.
It's not like you are going to convince people about your ethics, when you raise your lions ethically, just to then shoot them.

You can dress your lions in silk and feed them pampers, won't do nothing, it's the hunting and killing part that irks anti's.

The hunters throw money into the country, the little they spend on the actual animal is all people see, they forget all the rest, travel, accommodation, job creation, etc etc etc.

It's like me going on a fishing trip, if you include all costs, those are usually the most expensive fish in the world, people tend to forget that fact.

    - They are a better bank for genetic material than a zoo would be.
    - They self fund, albeit that model seems to irk you.
    - They are on private land that is already "farmed", which limits further encroachment onto their habitat (as compromised as it is in the case of cat farms).

What the emotional bullshitters do not see is that the only way that the species will be saved is for there to be less humans squeezing the wild animals out of their habitats. You are welcome to make a mountain out of a molehill, and sadly that is exactly what Cecil is/was. But the only way for the world's biological diversity to survive is for people to stop f*cking - now that is a message that few have the nuts to deliver.

More breeding = more diverse genetic pool maintained = when parks from Africa buy lions from South Africa they have better genes.

I am not talking about the greenies. They will always be against the killing of anything except their steak.

I am talking about us as the hunting community. We need to condemn breeders like these, and expose them at every chance we get.
