Re: DM4
Heard there’s a 2nd Gen DM4 coming or is already here.
Can anyone confirm?

Re: DM4
Also, regarding the DM4 Billet upgrade, besides the muzzle and stock, what upgrades are there to the upper and lower?

Re: DM4
I was told they will become available either this week or next week.
The upper and lower has been upgraded to the billet upper and lower.
Price will apparently be the same
Will be chambered in 5.56 by default, not in 223 like the gen 1
That is what I can remember from my conversation with Gareth when I visited DSG Montana last week

Re: DM4
I was told that the lower and upper for the Gen 2 were being made in SA, and they will only be coming out in March, but they also have a massive backlog of orders with SAP, security companies etc, that nothing is getting to the dealers.

Re: DM4
Yeah, a billet upper or lower isn't really much of an upgrade over the Mil Spec recievers. The only real advantage of a billet is that there is the freedom to deviate away from the original specs to make "cool" looking receivers. Yes they may be marginally stronger, but for all intents and purposes there is no real advantage.
Plus, their original lower receivers were manufactured in the USA by Aero Precision... one of the largest manufacturers of mil spec AR15 receivers in the USA who manufacture for multiple OEM's.
That said, I have never heard of anyone complaining about their receivers on the DM4's... but I've heard complaints about pretty much most of the other parts from differing experiences.
