CZ 75B IDPA upgrades
Hi Guys
I will be joining SADPA very shortly and would appreciate input into any upgrades / modifications that my CZ 75B should have or could benefit from.
As far as I can ascertain from the Rule book, it would fall within the SSP division.
At present it is stock, with the exception of Hogue grips that have replaced the stock grips.
I'll also need to get a holster - what would be advisable?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Ghost

Outside waistband that drops straight down. Spend money on it ... if you don't like the sport, you'll be able to sell it easily. Safariland, Mtac.
Get decent mag holders. Versa-pouch for the same reason as the holster.
I would suggest decent sights, but speak to Marius at Jizni. He knows his stuff and his CZs.
Loads of ammo. Start reloading.

Don't do anything to the CZ now, join in and then after some range time you will be better informed to possible changes that you may want. Bring the holster you currently use and go from there.

Re: CZ 75B IDPA upgrades
Thanks guys, appreciate the input
Only holster that I have for the CZ is an old leather pancake so a decent holster and mag pouches will be top of the priority list. I see Marius has some really nice stuff on his sight. Will make contact with him.
Just started reloading. Testing next weekend - 124gr CMJ FPs behind a charge of 4.5 gr MS200 with an average COL of 27.2 mm.

Re: CZ 75B IDPA upgrades
That seems like a pretty hot load to start with and a very short COL. I use 4.5 gr MP200 with a longer COL and a shorter barrel than the 75.

Ghost, you are not too far from me, (I'm in the Fourways area)
I shoot a Shadow and Ruth shoots a 75 (IDPA)
You are welcome to pop over for a coffee, chat, look see, discuss loads etc
I've done pretty much everything to her CZ that I can, and its still SSP /ESP legal
