    Congrats on the fine knife. Clyde is a great guy!

    Just one correction on the "front flipper term". This is not a front flipper but a lip opener method developed by Fanie La Grange in the early 1990's.

    Fanie's knives were not flippers, they were conventional liner locks which used the lip to replace the opening stud. This became popular her in SA and the front flipper developed from that by Andre Thorburn. The front flipper is "in front of the bolster and pivot" IMO and the first model I ever saw of it was in 2011 KGSA show by Andre Thorburn.

    Thanks for pointing that out to me

    Could you maybe show me the difference with some pictures? I looked at Andre's knifes on his website and can't see anything standing out and I am struggling to understand the difference to what you just explained
