Re: Bullet performance data base
I have been using bullet of similar constuction (Rhino Solid Shank) for many years.
I think it's the best way to make a hunting bullet. Nothing else I have used puts game down the way these things do.

Re: Bullet performance data base
I've been busy with load development on my 300WM using the 180gr SBC.
Did test loads yesterday with a chrony. Rudi adjusted the data and gave me a load to use.
This was the first 3 shots at 100m with a bit of a wind. These bullets are really accurate.
Can't wait to do more testing on game at range

Re: Bullet performance data base
I have tested Safari Bullet Company's bullets in a 7x57, .30-'06, 9.3x62, .375 H&H and .416 rem mag and experienced excellent accuracy in all calibers. Performance on game is also excellent. We are really fortunate to have hunting bullets of this quality available from a local producer who also offer superb, personal service in helping with load developement.

Re: Bullet performance data base
Good hunt this weekend.
L-R 150gr 308W TSX @2860fps mv into sternum of a wildebeest bull @130m
400gr Aframe 404J @2280fps mv into chest of a Hartmann’s Zebra @60m
400gr Aframe 404J@2280fps mv through both shoulders of a Kudu bull quartering to slightly @60m
All bullets worked hard but did the business.

Re: Bullet performance data base
Thanks for posting. Did you weigh those bullets by any chance?
