    5 years later since the last post on this thread... I hope the 56 owners have put many more rounds through their rifles... Whats the latest thoughts on the 56 straight out of the box?

    I'm interested in a 56s advertised for 10k. Gun is brand new and it comes with two mags.

    Bunker Arms in Woodmead have them at R9250 with 2 mags and a cleaning kit. If your LGS doesn't have it, check out these guys. Good chaps. Been using the range there since they opened up. They're at the old Tactical 22 range in Woodmead.

    Yip. We have two of them in our house. Both work flawlessly. One for me (with the fixed bayonet) and one for the better half. (her one does not have the bayonet attached)

    A lot like the early trade rifles; made to a price point. Big difference between military type 56 and most of these that vary widely in quality.
