BXP Fun Gun - calling all experts...
Hi Guys,
Recently got a BXP for "free" (fun gun), but very little info on its background other than it's been with one owner. Pretty good condition, barrel looks a bit shot out though.
Two questions if I may:
1.) Serial number starts with RSA000XXX - would this be one of the early 80's models made by Milkor?
2.) Any idea what the barrel twist rate was on the Milkor (assuming it is) versions?
Thanks!

Just some notes, not all the answers.
Your serial number should be RSA 12345 (5 digits). Never seen one with a 6-digit number. But it looks like it should be an early Milkor model.
The barrel should not be shot out. It might be possible, but not very likely. What exactly are you seeing that looks like "shot out"? Twist can be measured.
The trigger bar (link) has a "hump" that acts as the disconnector. This hump rides on the underside of the breech block (slide). With use, they wear down and start to fail to reset occasionally. The part should be replaceable or repairable. Check it out.
Yes, they are fun!
