Have not tried this at all. But have seen on Youtube guys spraying some oil or water into silencers. Not alot. But this helps reduce sound.

You will also need a good ear. To really worry about the db difference from screwing on type and slip on.

What ive seen done on airrifle type. Was guy placed rubber at front on inside. And then first couple of shots just shot the hole nicely through. To get super tight fit.
    But this is to much.

Adding loose stuff on inside. I wont worry about that. As the air pressure build up inside during firing might just move it. Or make it go loose.

Ive once heard that the baffles for a perfect silencer. Should also not be evenly spaced. They should be at different points to break the sound waves at certain points. But this is way to technical. Especially on a 22lr.

If you are going to remove and refit your slip on silencer on a regular basis get your local machine shop or a buddy with a lathe to turn a locating rod for you. One end should be a nice sliding fit in the barrel and the other should match the silencer ID.Place rod in barrel, slip the silencer on and tighten the fixing screws. Proper alignment guaranteed.

Hijack! Does anyone else have a slip on silencer fitted to a CZ452 Lux? It is basically a Brno 2e - so I hoped that a slip on silencer made for the Brno 2e would fit my CZ452-2e zkm? Can anyone confirm that?
