Default AR15 ACE Skeleton Fixed stock on Carbine

    Hi there guys.

So I got the message from SAPO to collect my stock finally!

What I'm curious to know is this. The stock is uses the A2 buffer tube when fitting. What I'm curious about is if I should go ahead and change to a Rifle length buffer spring and buffer, or if I should keep the Carbine spring and buffer and use a spacer?

I'm leaning more towards the A2 buffer and spring setup as its a "stock" type setup and in my mind seems less Macguyverd.

    What do the experts say?

If the guys say one or the other, does anyone know the pricing and availaiblity of the spacer, and the A2 Buffer (I already purchased the buffer tube and spring, but not adverse to not using them if there is a better option)

Stock in question is the bottom one in the image:

Use a rifle buffer and spring. No point in messing around, trying to botch something and having hassles.

Should your barrel length and gas system not dictate what buffer and spring you should use? Im assuming that those stocks just slide over the normal buffer tube, so why would it have an affect at all on what buffer setup you use.

Carbine tube works with notches in the tube and a stock with a latch to lock into the notches.

The Ace does not have a latch and is fitted witha bolt to the rear of the tube afaik, like the fitting of a stock to a rifle tube.
