Default RECCE- Small Team Missions Behind Enemy Lines, by Koos Stadler.

Wow this is a really awesome book. A personal account. I read Iron fist from the sea, but I am enjoying this more. Loads of photos too. Will update further when I have finished it!

If you enjoyed that go read Jack Greeffs book "A Greater Share of Honour" too, he also did small team ops and refined the training, you'll get goose bumps reading of 2 men (one of them Greeff) in Luanda dressed as Cubans on a recon mission!

I'm glad these old warriors are putting pen to paper and the history is not being lost.

Just finished the Afrikaans version. Wow what a good book. These Small Team operators had some tough missions. Some of the missions he describes are just crazy. Making bombs that look like posters! A must read.

I've always been looking for books on our special ops guys and this is the first one I found about the Recces and I was not disappointed. Now to find more books like this.

If you enjoy this, read Journey Without Boundaries by Diedies (Col Andre Diedericks).

I see takealot has the English one on special, but no Afrikaans. Will have a look at the CNA this weekend thanks.
