Re: Domestic Violence - Firearms taken away but no charges are laid
Will you not try and hit the women in link below in "self defense"?

Re: Domestic Violence - Firearms taken away but no charges are laid
I firmly believe men should never physically abuse women, however I see a distinct difference between physical abuse and defending yourself/ fighting back. If a woman is beating a man, be it a slap or a full on assault then she must deal with retaliation. So many women complain that men don't act like gentlemen anymore but at least 50% of the female population are certainly not what you could call ladies.

Hitting a woman will work out pretty badly for you. You will either get beaten up by a group of spiertiere or the cops will lock you up over night. I am not saying it's wrong to hit back, but know that the white knighting instinct is strong in some men and they probably wouldn't know who started the whole thing, nor would they care.

Ive seen some friends get divorced.
It really gets ugly sometimes between the two.
Amazing if you knew them when everything was still rosy.
Had some friends who divorced friendly and are still friends with each other.
But most cases it gets pretty ugly quick.

Never hit a woman? What about those who voluntarily join the armed forces? Are they royal game too?

Generally speaking it's never okay to hit anyone, male or female.
Unless of course you're defending yourself against a violent attack. Then it's game on, regardless of the attacker's sex I reckon.

Re: Domestic Violence - Firearms taken away but no charges are laid
My ex assaulted me. In trying to restrain her, she ended up with a split lip. She called the cops and tried to have me arrested for assault.
She had no idea what an assault was, because if I had intended to do so, she definitely would not have just had a little bump on her lip.
A year or so later, she was assaulted in the car park at Sandton City by some muggers. I guess she now knows what assault is, because she packed her bags and moved to London in a matter of weeks.
Good fucking riddance.
