That was a kak idea. Shit penetration and almost zero expansion. I'd rather carry FMJ for SD.

No, but that was the urban legend. They were supposedly designed to work well on glass, such as windscreen glass, suffering from less deflection than say FMJ. Was supposed to not deform and penetrate hard objects, but was meant to expand in a soft medium.
Expansion was erratic and the skirt sometimes sheared off, making it behave like a FMJ.
Was an interesting idea which did not work reliably.

Jip I think they were too light for all round adequate performance. Would also not carry them myself.

The THV's and the Monads worked, the eliminator was a "clone".
