147s with that long parallel shaft and the greater 'corking' resistance???

But I must still decide on a bullet weight.

Apologies, but I am not trying to hijack Yeti's thread, and also think the question might assist Yeti.

What is the chamber / barrel pressure limits for these SMG's, is it the same as 9mm pistols or is it higher?

I drove 135gn Frontiers through a Taurus CT9 at 128-130 factor with no issues whatsoever. My regular handgun loads, no load dev required.

I was running my standard 135gr lead at about 1000fps (s121)(28.2mm), worked well, but grouping dropped off severely at about 50m.

I am now running 115gr frontier at about 1200fps (ms200)(29mm), seem to have better results past 50m.

I had to change to MS200 due to barrel length, case fill's, burn rates etc

So look at slower powder and lighter CMJ's, you want the powder to burn for as long as possible and get the bullet out as quick as possible.....but at the same time not have too much unburnt powder.

A lot of time and effort was put in by a guru to do the maths etc....

Yeti I have the Stag arms 9mm AR and normal 124 grain loads which factor in a Beretta 92 work perfectly. Will find details

Really great platform IMO, cheap and easy training with the AR platform

Yeti, will you be running this AR at DMG Nationals in a week or so? Really curious to see how it runs. Hope you get the reliability to where you want it before then.

Not really, that was 2 proper range sessions and a short one at an indoor range.

    Machine burns ammo quick

The only hard work is watching Ruth load the mags

    ....
Yeti and I had a "discussion" the other day re above, but he did come around after a brandy

Would be interesting to know the results with 124gr CMJ with ms 200 / mp 200 behind it
