Which ever make you go for. Look at the length of it.
Then how that length will look on the front of your barrel.
I see plenty rifles on range. Where the silencer are way too long on the rifle and does not look good.

The option with the silencer and muzzle brake combined to me is confusing.
As a muzzle brake usually makes rifle sound louder. And the suppressor makes it quieter.
So now you have these 2 items doing the opposite with the sound.

I was going to get a Sus-Tac for my 10" M92 until I found out about the Oceania Defence thread-over cans. They also do direct thread versions.

It's not cheap by any stretch of the imagination but I reckon well worth the cost in the long run for an Inconel can rated for 30cal full auto (in my case). The titanium models are marginally cheaper.

That said, if it weren't an option, Sus-Tac would be top of my list.

The Ase models are also rated Full auto on 30cal. They test it on a M249 at full auto.
The Sl5 is 95mm. Very effective.
    Though probably not the lightest.
My 308 is a VSSF Remington.
But with and without I see no difference in POI.
And more important no change in accuracy on or off.

I do every now and again after firing for awhile.
Dump it in my Hornady Sonic cleaner for a clean.

Because the aim there is recoil reduction not sound reduction. So they trade off some noise for more recoil management.

A closed-front brake protects the blast baffle of the can from flame cutting to an extent.

When Ase Utra test full auto on a 10" M92 in 7.62x39, or a 10" 300BLK, not an 18" M249 which is 5.56x45 I may be convinced. But as you mentioned, in bolt applications, they're brilliant.

So as a Necro. I got one of these for my 308. Hands down best money spent. I can shoot my 308 all day without ear pro (i dont) and without even having to hold the rifle on bag or bipod. Almost all of the recoil is gone and i am able to spot my shoots easy at 300-500m.

I use a SAI on both my Tikka T3 CTR in 308 and my Troy AR. They are imported and full auto rated. At less than R3k each substantially cheaper than what Sustac quoted me. I am extremely happy with them.

The sus tac extends barrel by about 7.5”, that is the one part that bothers me. Top of my list is a ASE, but cant seem to find a dealer in GP who has stock.

maybe I should just wait until ASE become available again.
