    Default Husqvarna Rifles

    Hi Guys , any other husqvarna owners here ? I own a Husqvarna 8x57 and looking to expand my collection into other calibres but looks like its going to take some work , my uncle owns a Husqvarna 30-06 and 243 but refuses to pass it haha even offer several casks of whiskey and brandy , would love to get to know other experiences etc with Husqvarna Rifles in SA

    I know of a 6.5 x 55 in Standerton...yet the rifle is not for sale?

    Well thats a pity 6.5x55 is probably my favorite kalahari hunting calibers

    I have used 2 Husky's in SA. One a FN98 in .30-06, the other a 1600 series (small ring commercial 98) in 9.3x62. The 1600 action to me is really cool. Right up there with other commercial 98 copies and inspired actions like the BRNO 21 and ZG47.

    I live in Canada now and Husky's are very common here on the used market. The model 1900 is a very nice rifle as well.

    O how I wish it was, thats my 2nd fav caliber and im actually looking for a 6mm at the moment

    There is a 9,3x62 in storage at MRS Techniques in Pretoria.
