I, too, caught a fish this morning ... not in St Lucia (I caught mine in Hermanus), but it was nice and tasty as well. Smaak so bietjie na kreef:

Dorado is very good but be aware that some people are very allergic to it.

Interesting. We had it last night, it was fairly good. Half the fish fed 5 grown-ups, and there was still some for breakfast this morning.

    Luckily no-one was sick.

Sheesh, didn't know Dorado can have allergic effects on some people. I read up quick, and it sounds like a histamine reaction.

I don't know what it is. Interestingly, I am told by my family that in the old days in Mauritius nobody would eat Dorado - it was considered something of a sin to eat such a beautiful fish.
