    Years ago my Boss' son tried to recover his boat with his Nissan Sentra and trailer . A wave managed to wash the car off the slipway and into deeper water. Car was recovered using a crane and we got it back to the workshop in Woodstock. Within a month it went from gray to a muted orange colour. A genuine accident the insurance covered it.

    With something like this they might not. Some people might get the car running again without a claim and then sell it on the 2nd hand market...

    Not that this ever happens in SA!

    Yeah. Almost like when two morons decide to 4x4 in the mud with a Peugeot 306 on the way to the shooting range and get stuck for two hours with a grumpy wife in the car...
