Dealt with Vince back in the day, a true gent, absolutely nuts about air rifles (had to clear some off his couch just to have a seat. He was a magician with an air rifle, have regretted selling the TX 200 I bought from him. He will be sorely missed as he was 1 of the best air rifle smiths I ever cam across. RIP Vince, it was a pleasure dealing with you, you will be missed.

    Hi All,

I am a nephew of Vince, thank you all for your wishes and condolences, it is much appreciated.
Myself and one of his daughters will start to catalog the rifles which are left in his workshop as and when we can.

If I may ask, is there anyone on this forum that can help us with evaluations as we need to get rid of it once we have cataloged it.
If you or anyone you know can help us please get in touch via pm.

    Thanks and kind regards

I am so happy that Vince has been recognised by everyone he 'touched'. He was a fine gentleman and friend to many.

I do regret, however, not following through on my intention to visit him in hospital with a bottle of tequila and a blow-up doll. When I mentioned that the guys at Northcliff airgun club were putting thinking of putting it together, I thought his uncontrollable laughter would have him kicked out of the facility!

RIP MZE... no more wandering around in the bush, bumping into baobabs.
