    Default Powder limits

    Hey GOSA guys.

I was just wondering, is powder limits something that might fall under GOSA?

    Thanks to Pagad, yes.

But as per the OP, sure, why not?

    Awesome....2,4kg is very limiting.

Also only being allowed to buy 2 tins per visit to the shop.

Once again shops treat things differently. I bought 4 tins a few weeks ago.

Yeah, my local will probably give me all the cans they have if I pay for it. At another shop I was asked for a S16 license when I bought more than two tins.

Think this is different to ammo/primers and dedicated status scenario.

Have heard from more than one place that no more 1kg powder per person persale/day rule is enforced heavily upon dealers under certain Explosive Regs inspectors.

Did you have 4 licences with you?

No. I wanted to buy two and the sales oke told me I'm allowed to have 4. Since I didn't have any at home, I took it.
Maybe he was wrong, but it's done now.

I understood something similar. Only allowed to transport 1kg (2 tins) at a time. But I've given up on trying to find the relevant act.
