Default Air rifle as a gift

    Hi guys,

i don't know much about air rifles, so I need some advise.

A mate of mine is turning 8 on the 29th feb.

We want to buy him a air rifle. It will be used just for can shooting and screwing around.

Our budget is R2500, what would you suggest.

    I saw this:

Give St John a call at Kitted Out

    http://www.kittedout.co.za/

He does tuning and sales of airguns out of Nic Yale.

I am sure he will be able to help you out with what you are looking for and be able to give some recommendations.

The HW30s from Weihrauch. But is might just be above the 2500. Due to weakening Rand.
You can also look at the HW25. The 30 has recoil pad. The 25 does not.

The Smaller Diana Air Rifles are better value than the 30S IMO

Yes but once you've owned a Diana, the others will never quite be as accurate as you want them to be.

    THIS!

Also try Saint John at www.kittedout.co.za. No he is not a REAL saint but he works miracles with airguns. Having said this, he did try to walk on water once and realised that he can't swim.

I bought a Baikel MP61 for my daughter, it's light, accurate, easy to cock and has a magazine capacity of 5 pellets. It fits the budget too.

Go to Camdix and see if they have any shop-soiled items. I bought one a few months ago - band new with just a small nick on the butt.
