The thing with thinking in this context is that there are things that defies our logic. Personally I do not really believe or disbelieve the rumour, but I have worked closely with those who are fighting this Nyaopi thing and other people in the justice department that faces the consequences at the coal face each and every day, and this is the perception that is out there. In our own area we ended up putting gps trackers into the flat screen tv's ... what does this tell you.

Interesting ... let's take it on face value.

It could mean many things, but if you want to, you can also state that just to keep the addiction rate where it was 40 years ago, they had to multiply their efforts to keep it down considerably.

Also look at the addiction rate, it is a percentage, so population growth must also be taken into account.

And the value of money has also decreased.

As with many things, this is maybe not the type of situation where one could argue that you must let the fire burn out by itself, because then there will be nothing left. This is the type of fire that you must constantly fight. The more one do to fight the manufacturers and dealers, the lesser the chance becomes that innocent lives are being messed up through this.
