Glad you putting it to good use

Also have one of those splitting hatchets. The handle was a bit rough so gave it a sand with fine sandpaper. Then a small coating of linseed oil.

Works like a treat for preparing wood at home for the braai

Love my little axe, it works well. My husky splitting axe is very new got it from TacQm havent put it through its paces yet, however I've been told they are tough and you get a lot of axe for what you pay.

    Hi Mr_Medic.
This is exactly what I am looking for.
Can I ask where you got it from?

    Thanks

Thanks, I saw that earlier as well.
Camp and Climb have a Kershaw Tinder axe which grabbed my attention, but its more Tacticool than anything else.
It does have a bottle opener though, because its always a good idea to have a drink whilst playing with an axe.
I just want something for camping / starting fires /car boot kind of thing.

This will do nicely then. Ultra Edge, by no means a Hudson bay or Gränsfors but is handy and works very well. Has a little hand saw inside the holy handle as well as a ferro rod inside the axe heads sheath.
This guy stays in my truck always.
