Default Eastern Cape Stopover & Hunt - April, Advice plse

I am planning a family drive down down to Patensie - (Langkloof) from here (Gauteng) in middle April...
I am hoping to combine a 1/2 way stopover and hunt for my 12year old son and into one ? I was thinking of the Middelburg/ Colesberg/ Graaff Reinet area. I am looking for a place where my wife and daughter can relax while we I target some springbuck and/or Kudu... If I am not successfull I can also spend a day on the way back to Gauteng too... BUT then I need to ensure a good resting place for my family at afforable rates...??
I am also unsure about the veld conditions currently with the drought that is so severe...
I am specifically looking for a Biltong & meat hunt..

Any assistance would be appreciated... PM me if need be..

Call and ask for biltong hunter prices.
