    The Battlecomp is great on an AR, so I'm sold on the concept. Check if Hailstorm has the Lantec brake, they're good too. They're expensive though.

    The Lantec looks good but at 3k it is pushing what is viable for a muzzle device.

    The Manticore is comparable to the standard AK74 brake which is a pretty decent brake. It is about 3/4" shorter and about 2/3 the weight of a standard AK74 brake.

    Some reviews from guys I trust say the difference between the BC and the Manticore Nightbrake is negligible. The non negligible difference in price of $120 means I'll suck up the difference in performance. And at $60 I can order it direct if need be.
