big ass knife! need info

So one day we came across a knife in a house we had to renovate, and the owner said he does not want it. It is now in my possession. Its really beautiful and pretty large too. The work on the knife seems good and was made to be tough. I just don't know much about knives to know anything about it. Is there a knife talented person out there that can give me some insight on this piticular knife?

LOL thanks guys, I do love my knife . I find the shape of the blade odd, cant guess what it was made for, its also not well balanced where its heavy towards the blade. Does this make it a bush knife for chopping? Its got a nice tip that seems comfy for vertical stabbing. Confusing... yet so sexy.... like a hooker I guess?
