I believe you only need one brand, German Kinetic broad heads, the real German Kinetics..not those made in China... You can use it with your compound as well as your traditional bows...you will not use any other broad-head again..

If your bow is correctly tuned, you should be able to shoot just about any broadhead as accurately as your field points. I shot them out of compounds and long bows and can vouch for their quality and workmanship but to be honest, they are not worth the money for regular plains game with an average poundage compound bow due to their price. If you have no budget constraints then buy them or if you are going after dangerous game they are the ones to use. If you can afford them, go for it but buying 3 won't be enough.

Stopped by ArchersEdge today. They gave some good advice, they said the Rage SS series has been working well for the lower poundage clients /youth, the biggest being an Eland cow recently.. Slicktricks are popular but they reccomend the Vipertick as its a cut on contact design for the lower pound bows. Saw some other fixed blade options as well.

Finally mailed him today, didn't realize he is a PH with 26 years of experience! He strongly prefers fixed blades and has seen mechanicals do very strange things when guiding, his one German kinetic has 13 kills and still going strong. So he explained it paid for itself
already. He also recommends slicktricks as another option. Thanks.
