    Question Airsoft Gunsmith

Hey there! I was just wondering whether you guys knew of anyone in Durban that could help me put together some custom parts for my Airsoft 1911. I have a number of parts that I would like to change out. Most of them are a "drop in" fit, however some of the parts may require some light sanding or dremmel work. I'm reluctant to do the work myself and would greatly appreciate any help or advice I could get, please!

I'm hoping to install all new internals such as a loading nozzle spring, recoil bearing spring guide, wide use chamber packing and a inner barrel. Externally I would like to install a new slide stop, hammer strut, barrel bushing, housing, grip safety, safety lock, steel hammer, magazine catch, hop up base chamber and recoil spring plug.

Awesome! Thank you SO much for the link. They're not too far from me too. I hope they can help me out. I'm going bananas sitting with these shiny parts and not being able to install them.

Its more fun doing it yourself. That way you also learn more about how everything works together.

I totally agree with you and have found it quite therapeutic to strip my pistol apart. I've found a few videos online that show a detailed field stripping of the Meu, however I am thoroughly confused on how to go about installing the trigger and hammer strut.

Just thought I'd update you guys on my build. I finally managed to get ALL the parts that I wanted. With some last minute changes and a great deal of part swapping I successfully managed to "drop fit" every part in the pistol. My Dremel thankfully remained untouched! I've now realized that some parts are cross compatible with Tokyo Marui parts and require no tools at all.

A BIG thank you to everyone for the suggestions and help! I really appreciate it!

Anyway here's a photo of my current build along with a spec list of what I've added.
