A headsup if you are looking for Lowa boots. I found a newish company that now also stock Lowa boots. Well, new for me in any case.
    Exclusive Proficiency Mods

They have a physical shop in the Florida Junction shopping centre in Ondekkers road Roodepoort that opened 1July if I remember correctly. They also have an online store that has been running for a while longer.

They are running an opening special on the Lowa Zephyr boots for R2850 a pair at the moment. They seem to be bringing in more models as time go by which is a good thing IMHO.
More competition in this market segment is also great for us consumers.

I like my Merrell Reflex 2 Mid Leather boots combined with Falke socks. They are now on special at Cape Union Mart for R1100. I have not gone hunting but the might do the trick. All my favorite shoes are Merrell"s.

I have had a pair now for 2 seasons, they're holding up just fine. My previous pair of Merrell boots lasted me 5+ years.
