Re: Have you lost a knife
My wife lost her first knive, a Kershaw of some kind, in a fitting room somewhere. So I gave her my Buck Vantage Pro to use in the meantime. Again, lost in a fitting room somewhere. I was somewhat upset.

Re: Have you lost a knife
I lost my Cold Steel Pro Lite. 3 rd time "lucky". First 2 times I heard it fall out of my pocket and thought I'd better do something about the loose clip. Ja and I did not do it, so I lost my knife the 3rd time.

Re: Have you lost a knife
I had my Cold Steel XL Voyager Tanto liberated from my shooting bag at a range a few years ago.
This thread just reminded of how much that sucked.

Lost Byrd CaraCara 2....replaced with Spydie Tenacious (when they were still about R500). It now lives at home in the safe with my PM2 and HARM Custom Folder, and I find myself carrying my Endura 4, deep Pocket Carry clip, most days

Have you lost a knife
Counting back... I've lost 5 pocket knives since I was 10. 6 if you count my gerber multitool. I scored the multitool from a thief that stole my car radio. He forgot it on the seat.
I now carry a cheap pocketknife that i bought from checkers for R65. The nice ones are sitting in a drawer in my study.
Not bad for R65, and if you loose it, don't fret. It costs about the same as a 6 pack of beer that pass your bladder during a single braai.

Re: Have you lost a knife
I have lost a Spyderco Persistence which I was pretty fond of. Lost it in an uber I think or some other place on a night out.
For the specific reason of not wanting to lose a knife, my custom Des Horn folder with carbon fibre handles and damasteel blade sits in my draw.

Re: Have you lost a knife
Over the last 10 or so years i have lost 11 x Victorinox waiter knives.
My first one cost about R80, the last one was about R140.
I dont think there will be a #12....they are over R200 now, so not as expendable as before.
Also lost a R1000 diving knife over a wreck....took about 20 seconds to work out if it was worth more than the bends.
@Toxxyc....is that all the Pozoda's? i EDC one of them now....had hopped having a clip will make it more difficult to go missing....
