Blue Wildebeest (Waterberg area)
Had opportunity to shoot at friends farm over long weekend. Plan was for my boy to shoot his first Rooibok but unfortunately it was not his day.
Nevertheless took these two Bulls with trusty old .303 B.S.A. (180gr Prvi SP)
Got in close 30m, good presentation. Hit this beautiful young bull right shoulder edge about 2/3 down. He spun and dropped on the spot. Bullet over penetration visible.
Took this old bull at around 50m. Presentation slightly angled away from me but managed to hit him a hand or so behind left shoulder mid body. He jumped and bolted. No visible blood trail but we found him about 20m away. Bullet did what it needed to do.

Nice one man.
Also got a BWB to my .303 this year!
The rifles work well for old ones!
