Wanderin Zero, please tell me why. If i can learn something from you that o do not know of then i am all ears. That is also why i post ideas and questions on this forum, so i can learn and don't have to go through unnecessary stuff other people have already been through

What I can tell you is that boxer primers (at lest the S&B ones I have) are much softer than berdan ones, and the T56 gives them an almighty whack. My homebrew ammo has been good enough for me for clubshoot-level IPSC use, so they've functioned well under relatively high cycle rates. The Chicom ammo is way more accurate but this is less expensive by a good enough margin to make it worthwhile for me. If I could speed up the decapping process, I'd be very happy.

means that for every 1 bougt and shot, i can shoot 12 of my own if i pay R1 a primer. Got primers a while ago at R0.40 each. the i can make a round for R0.70 vs R14

You should compare the cost to the alternative - I have read R5.30 per round for Berdan primed ammo.

So the difference is R8-70 (R14 - R5.30), effectively this is what you pay to get a Boxer case. The question you have to ask yourself is whether R8-70 is worth the time to convert the case (once off), and the inconvenience of having to prime and glue every reload afterwards.

yes it is. R0.70 max vs R5 min... let me think about it.... definately. time to convert one is no longer than 30 seconds. i can upload a vid to prove, but i have nothing to prove. It's there, use it or don't.
