Default Ar10 suppressed need heavy buffer

I just suppressed my dm4 308 and it runs 100% but... Upon inspection of the buffer I found that it is now dented at the rear and I am 99% sure that is because the rifle is now over gassed from being suppressed.

Id like to try a heavy buffer as I hear this will prevent it from getting worse. I know that an adjustable gas block would be first prize but I'd like to try a heavy buffer before spending that kind of money .

Where can I get one and what do you guys recommend?

    Thanks in advance

EDIT: the buffer itself is dented from impacting the back of the buffer tube.

UPDATE: To get an CA-10 XH with a spring plus shipping to SA costs around R3000.

Side note, the DM4-308 standard buffer that came with my rifle is only 2 & 3/8 oz. The minimum I was told was 5.5 ounces for a .308.

Did they use an AR-15 buffer in a .308?

I have ordered the heavy buffer, hopefully it will fix the issue.

You are probably going to end up getting the adjustable gas block eventually anyway.

with an adjustable gas block, you shouldnt need a different buffer.
a suppressor increases the pressure in the gas tube and thus causes more severe cycling of the bolt. an adjustable gas block eliminates that excessive pressure, thus promotes normal cycling....

I just thought I`d update you guys on this. I did eventually go with an adjustable gas block and the rifle runs beautifully with the adjustable gas block. Installed it myself, it was very easy. Turn it one revolution down for suppressed, and back one revolution un-suppressed.
