Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
Taurus 608 .357 magnum revolver. Thing malfunctioned from day 1. Returned it to dealer 3 or 4 times only to be returned in same condition to me. When I asked for a refund the dealer had stories so I just sold the damn thing. Was my first handgun I bought. Bought a Sig 226 after that. Never looked back.

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
If I remember correctly,it was 1965. I purchased a brand new,in box, Winchester model94/ .30-30 cal.
back then, cash bought any firearm. over 16 and its yours.
Beautiful carbine, easy to carry...... much nicer than my old home sporsterized .303 Enfield.
my second round somehow slid UNDER the loading gate......(It was to be my new deadly black bear rifle)!!!
I returned it to the local gun store (Thanks to my grandfather) and got my $ 85 dollars back.
I now have another Winchester (2016) lever gun . it is a second owner(My friend bought new 1971 but fired only a dozen rounds....I have original cartridges) model 88 in .284 Winchester (7mm).
its a bolt action with a lever. As for the model94------ would never think of buying another......
its the only really poor firearm related purchase that I can think of...

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
My most disappointing purchase was a Smith and Wesson 6" 686 357 Magnum. Bought it in 83 when I could not find a Python. It shot great, but it did not....look....great. Real shame. Swopped it for a Hi-Power.
