Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
Bought some cheap chinese "Docter" mini red dot sight clone. There are two screws that secure the LED plate that you have to loosen before you adjust windage and elevation. Problem is that when you tighten them up again it throws out your adjustments. Never managed to zero it.
Only upside was that the picatinny base fits my Shield mini sight.
I've had very satisfactory experiences with Ncstar stuff, but from what I've read online it does seem it can be hit and miss

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
NC Star has recently upped their game. While I probably wouldn't use their gear for a World Shoot or for Fallujia or other such extreme situation for range work their gear is useful.
Definitely not "as good as" but "will do well enough".

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
The flashlight mount I bought is spring loaded (Quick release) so it doesn't loosen or tighten with a screw or nut. On my semi-auto shottie it didn't last but to be fair, if I bought one that bolted it might have been better. I must however say that the scope I bought from them is very, very clear and sharp, I'm quite impressed by it.

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
Diana 340 N-Tec .22 air rifle. Cost a fortune, never could a decent grouping & so-called match grade trigger acted up. Supplier replaced the rifle under warrantee but second rifle did exactly the same. Got my money back, bought a cheaper brand and now much happier.
A close second bad choice was CBC 12ga pump action. Kept jamming after 1st shot. Two gunsmiths could not fix the problem. Got rid of it fast!

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
The only thing that I can think of recently is the 1" Spanner that I bought with my Dillon.
A POS, not a true 1" spanner and a very expensive, useless ornament.Israeli Carry is for dead people

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
I owned a VARAN PMX 90 for a very brief period back in 1991.
Do not ever believe what you read in a British gun magazine about guns designed by ex SAS armourers incorporating the lessons learnt in the Rhodesian bush war... It's bullshit, all of it. Trust me...

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
That Varan was what I wanted all through National Service back in 86/87. At varsity I started shooting (somewhere in 1989). Settled on a CZ. Luckily.
I have not really had disappointing purchases. Maybe a Shotmaker at varsity which I could never get working well. Sold it eventually.

My Taurus PT709 Most unreliable gun I have ever owned, despite being the only new gun I ever bought, excluding my CZ452 .22 rifle.

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
Luckily I've come off fairly cheap thus-far.
I bought a cheap 2nd hand electronic scale. Not sure if it might have not had the best life before, but if I look at similar complaints against cheap digital scales, I get the idea that it is just not as good as a semi-decent mechanical beam scale, or a stupid-expensive digital one.

Re: YOUR MOST DISAPOINTING GUN/ ACCESORY PURCHASE
Hmm... Let's see - a pistol grip for my shotgun. I didn't buy it, but I got it as a PIF from the forum. I expected so much more, but when I fitted it it looked like someone lobbed the legs off a supermodel. HELL NO.
