    If I remember correctly, a guy in the Ponte block of flats fired a .357 revolver off his balcony, and the bullet hit a spectator inside Ellis park. As you say, the boffins worked on the trajectory and traced him. Fortunately for the police, the firearm was licenced, which narrowed down the search a lot.
