Fascinating! Those piggies also look to be in good shape for this late in the season. The pics of the PCGs and the Vereaux's eagles are just fantastic! Thanks for posting.

I always consider it a privilege when one or other of the crowned eagles come to my garden. (suburban, near Durban)

nice post to read, very interesting topic as we were discussing it yesterday because Cody asked if w/hog would eat meat.My answer was i would imagine they would, but never seen heard of it. Had a hyena on farm killing sheep a while back. A hyena in Grahamstown unusual - catching sheep ??.
