Hi all,

Starting this thread where you can post coolgane sightings. While it is inspired by having one of the best game parks in the world on our doorstep, feel free topost stuff you see on your farms, reserves or other parks.

These are photos from our August 2016 trip (three nights in Satara).

Playing hide and seek

One tough customer

We saw leopard 5 times (one was too fast to snap):

This guy was on the hunt

Posing like a mofo

Sleeping in a tree

We were last to arrive and she walked past right in front of our car

Some lions we saw

She was on her last legs

Only one (possibly a second) of these in Kruger

Those eyes bore into your soul

Kudu genetics in Kruger is fantastic:

He was so rough some of those bushes got stuck

Just check those horns standing out un the background

maybe my last hunting trip was too fresh in my mind. but all i could see was shot placement and horns on the antelope.

December 2015:

This fellow was somewhat far away.

This one was closer.

We were the first to spot this one.

Then 2016:

Idiot.

Edit to add: some of these were with my Panasonic FZ-20, others are the wife's, with her Canon EOS-1100 and the kit lenses (including the crappy 300mm zoom). But her birthday rolled around and she now has a Sigma 600mm. And of course she wants to go to the Kruger again.
