    My Spike. I used to carry it horizontal at 12 o'clock but it became annoying so mobed it to neck carry. I now carry my badger off centre strong side to provide a second lethal option on strong side.

    Stay Bladed.

    As for fixed blade, have you looked at the kershaw yet. Will try and find a pic.

    Thanks for the replies so far. Has given me some ideas. Will start searching Google for all the names mentioned.

    Mr Medic, problem is that I hate things around my neck, have tried it before and only got through half a day before removing it.

    CRKT Bear Claw; Hailstorm also has a karambit-style scalpel in a very concealable holster;

    Another thought: a lot is dictated by dress style. Shorts and bermudas lend themselves perfectly to concealed carry with a knife in the hose leg. Formal dress in long sleeves lends itself to an arm brace with a long thin knife.

    Shivworks Clinch Pick every day and/or Nasty Bastid when I get one. I believe in the P'kal system.

    I also have a Mercaida Piqoeur - very sharp and very concealable.

    The Bear Claw is a great knife, especially for ladies in that it allows for a very secure grip. My wife carries one and loves it.

    Clinch pick is excellent. My primary defensive blade is dual edged and can function as a p'kal style. I have spent some time learning more about it and it suits my strengths and weaknesses well. If you can squeeze the budget get yourself one of these:

    You wont regret it. Your last ditch blade should never ever be a folder.
