Side by side shotgun
Hi guys I purchased a 12 gauge side by side shotgun I would like to have it restored so doing the gun blue over on it from what I've heard it's more challenging on a side by side because of the lead that is used to fuse the barrels. Does anyone know of a smith that does this kind of work

SxS guns can only be cold blued, any normal(hot) blueing will loosen the barrels from the rib. It can still be done well if the smith knows what he is doing. Years ago, Erhard of Thor Engineering done a great job on a MacPerson hammer gun of mine.
