Spot on regarding the CCP dimensions. Guns like the Sig P320c and P-07 are true compact carry pistols. Enlarging the dimensions will also allow magwells for the G19 since CCP is allowed ESP mods. Which is probably against the spirit of CCP. But such are the limitations we put on ourselves when we choose our equipment I guess.

I am thinking more width increase than actually larger. It is the width spec afaik that disqualifies the P-07 form CCP which is totally silly.

Afaik the Beretta Px4C with standard configuration F-version safety/decocker levers will also not make the width spec. It will probably with the G levers also not make the width spec - silly, damned silly.

Sorry, yes indeed width is the issue for a great number of compact pistols.

When I was still involved in the management of the IDPA/SADPA interaction I did point out the issue of width and the unlogic of barring a pistol like the P-07, maybe it helped a bit?

Sadly, the dimensions for CCP ito width is the same as in the current rulebook. Except they got the conversion to metric wrong. I will definitely submit a comment on this one to HQ.

How many mm more is needed to accommodate "most" ccp pistols? I remember it literally being a couple of mm. It really stupid that mass participation gets discouraged by this rule.

Default 2017 IDPA Rulebook and Match Administration Guide 2017

Someone made a comparison of the proposed 2017 rules and the 2015 rules. I havent checked for correctness but seems pretty good at a cursory glance. Get a dropbox account to download the pdf.
