I have young daughters that can manipulate a CZ with no difficulties.

Note that I'm not calling you out, on it.
It's just a common complaint that I think is over bitched about for minimal actual issue.
As I said... working with something long enough helps over come the issue. Will I be able to wrack the slide on my PO7 in a SHTF situation, absolutely. Will a little more meat on the slide help when you turn into a monkey because of a huge adrenalin dump, I think so.

As I said it's about personal prefence. I love CZ. The only two firearms I own are CZ manufactured. I EDC a PO7. But i would like it just that much more if it had a slightly thicker slide. Which they apparently have done.

It's a common issue with the P07 and I think the slide profile is only a minor contributor to the issue. The main problem is the factory recoil spring is very stiff, I even had difficulty with my P07 initially. After 4k rounds it's still far stiffer than a G19 but manageable. My wife is now only getting to the point where she can rack it reliably.

The serrations on the slide are also very aggressive which helps for grip bit I find they cut my soft programmer hands up quite a bit - I pull the slide back gripping with my left index knuckle and thumb instead of pushing backwards with my hand over ejection port. I EDC a P07 and shoot IPSC with a Shadow, the shadow is 100 times easier to rack even out the box.

My favorite quote from the video is "if you own a G19 and want to upgrade to CZ this is the perfect gun"

It never was about the hammer or striker. Those are just excuses. Tastes differ. Some even like the Taurus PT111 G2 Millenium...

The thing is, some regard a gun as a tool. It has to work and work well.

Others regard it as a fashion statement or extension to their (likely lacking) manhood. How it looks and feels is more important that any ability to do the job.

The same principles are applied to cars, bikes, wimmin, clothing etc. etc.

We are fortunate to have choices.
