Re: 6.5-47 Lapua?
Did you not read that thread:
http://www.gunsite.co.za/forums/show...thoughts/page6
*** THEORETICAL LOAD DO NOT TRY WITHOUT KNOWING WHAT YOU'RE DOING ***
6.5x47 Lapua
Case capacity 48gn
s355 - 36.24gn - 95.3% case fill
Node 5: 1.329ms
MV: 2685fps
Propellant burnt: 100%
pMax 56190psi / 63091psi - 89.1% pMax
Obviously this actually requires that you MEASURE EVERYTHING, and you'll probably find you'll have 2-5% more case capacity in your case/chamber.
Go read up on: Optimum Barrel Time, and Optimum Charge Weight.
You're asking questions that need a lot more understanding before you're able to make a decision.
Decent rifles are expensive, and it's a pain having to apply for the licenses... so do your research properly BEFORE you buy.

Re: 6.5-47 Lapua?
from left to right. 260 remington, 6.5 super long range, 6.5 creedmoor, 6.5x47 lapua
With Lapua brass the 6.5 Creedmoor makes the most sense if you have a magazine imposing a COL limit and you consider how the cartridge functions with Somchem propellant.
If I was not invested in the 260 Ackley I would probably choose the 6.5 Creedmoor for my next barrel but I can do 2915fps with the 130 AR Hybrid from a 22" barrel while utilising a magazine system.

Re: 6.5-47 Lapua?
In my experience S365 works best in the 6.5x47 with 140gr bullets.
I'm getting 2745fps from a 22.5" barrel and excellent accuracy. The load is near maximum pressure and I have to use a drop tube to get all the propellent into the case. I have just over 3000 rounds through the barrel now and will go the same route if this one is shot out. All things considered an excellent round imo.
