But Takealot carry no risk on those returns, they go back to the suppliers. And they do not have to comply with the FCA regs, paperwork, inspections, etc.
There is a lot of difference by industry and by individual shops. Many places will in fact charge you a restocking fee on returns, especially if packaging is opened.

So we all know it is standard in the Firearms Retail. Understood and lesson learnt. Will make sure of these things before I buy in future. I will also never buy secondhand at a gun shop again.
